No, actually, what you get is a new product called OMG Cases. The product, being launched Wednesday, is an iPhone case that has LED lights that turn on when you get a call or a text or an email or maybe even when somebody takes a turn on Words With Friends.
The idea came from Adrienne Maloof, one of the stars of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” who brought it to Robert Croak, the man behind Silly Bandz, the bendy bracelet that is a familiar accouterment of the tween set.
“It is truly a product for people of all ages; there is something for everyone,” Maloof said in a news release. “The LED lighting has never been done before and this is why people are going crazy over it. You will soon see the product in stores like Apple, Best Buy, Target and more in the coming months.”
And that way, no kid will take the chance of missing a call from her BFF with the news that she’s just bought another bag of Silly Bandz.
